Dancers must be enrolled in 3rd Grade ballet to be in this class.
The dancers should wear ballet shoes and tights. Leotards and skirts or simple tutus may be worn. Dancer's hair should be pulled away from their face. Tap shoes are required for classes specified for tap (we will not need tap shoes until November).
The upper levels (1st Grade and up), require more attention on ballet technique, therefore, tap will not be part of the syllabus.
Dancers should wear pink ballet shoes and optional tights that cover the feet. Dancers will wear light pink tights and pink ballet shoes for the end of year recital, so keep this in mind when purchasing dance wear. Leotards and skirts or simple tutus way be worn. Dancer’s hair should be pulled away from their face. Tap shoes are required for 4-5 year classes, but will not be needed until November. (3 year students do not need tap shoes).

begin technique. These dress guidelines will help them begin to learn the
discipline of ballet.
